Several pharmaceutical companies are now offering at-home paternity tests. These kits come with swabs to gather cell samples from the inside cheeks of the child and the potential father. The swabs are then mailed to DNA labs, where they are analyzed and the results are returned. Results can usually be obtained online, by the phone, or through the mail in three to five business days, with companies promising results with 98% or above accuracy.
