• The child must have a parent who is no longer able to work and is entitled to receive disability payments.
• The child must be unmarried.
• The child must be under 18 years of age.
• The child must be under the age of 19 if enrolled in high school, or over 18 and suffering from a disability which manifested itself before he or she was 22.
